Todd Casabella
A native of Cleveland, Todd has taught at various clubs in northern Ohio and is currently the Director of Instruction at Barrington Golf Club in Aurora, Ohio. In 2018, Todd opened his indoor teaching facility to help student’s build a competitive advantage on the summer. Featuring TrackMan Simulators, his Golf Academy utilizes the best in cutting edge technology to train his students and provide step by step approach to off season excellence during Ohio’s winter/inclement weather, while allowing a place for both students and members to practice and fine tune their golf swing. Before coming to Barrington, Todd taught at the Mike Bender Golf Academy in Lake Mary, Florida after holding the Lead Instructor role at The Golf Digest Schools at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando. While at MBGA, Todd was the Tour Prep Coach for aspiring tour players and also assisted Mike with golf schools, junior programs and private lessons for all ages and skill levels.
Teaching Rate:
Adult 45-Minute Lesson: $130 (effective March 1, 2023)
Adult Recurring Lesson: $110 (effective May 1, 2023)
Junior 45-Minute Lesson: $100 (effective March 1, 2023)
Junior Recurring Lesson: $85 (effective May 1, 2023)
Junior lessons are available to junior golfers ages 12 and up, through the summer of high school graduation.
My Story
Todd has been teaching golf since 1993 and became a member of the Professional Golfers Association in 2000. He held the position of Head Golf Professional at three different facilities before focusing his career on what he is most passionate about, helping others play better golf.
He was the Lead Instructor for Golf Digest Schools at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida before joining the staff of the Mike Bender Golf Academy. Working side by side with one of the top coaches and teaching staffs was a tremendous experience. At the MBGA, Todd oversaw the Post Graduate / Tour Prep program, assisting Mike with the development of future collegiate and tour players. He also developed the U.S. Kids program for the Academy as well as conducting golf schools, summer camps and adult beginner programs. Teaching at the Academy taught Todd the necessary coaching skills to develop players to their fullest potential.
